Episode 117: November 1992 Part 1
Welcome to the one hundred and seventeenth episode of From Crisis to Crisis: A Superman Podcast! This podcast has a simple premise; examine just about every Superman comic published between Man of Steel #1 in 1986 to Adventures of Superman #649 in 2006 in an informative and hopefully entertaining format.
Part index. Part commentary. Part history lesson. All podcast.
This week Mike and Jeff dive right in to the first half of the Superman books with a November 1992 cover date. Frankly the boys had no idea how to act because they didn’t have a guest and only had two, normal sized issues to discuss. It has been some time since such a thing has occurred. There was a lot of dead air that Mike had to edit out because both he and Jeff would occasionally stop and wait for a guest that wasn’t there to start talking.
It. Was. Awkward.
Anyway, in Superman: The Man of Steel #17 Keith falls into the hands of the Underworlders and it is up to the Man of Steel to save him. Then in Superman #73 Superman and Waverider travel to Vanishing Point and face the judgment of…the Linear Men. After that Jeffrey tells you all of the big, historical moments from when these books came out. They also talk about the movie Sneakers.
Like a lot.

Next time after that: DOOMSDAY!
